There is a dammed up lake that's water belongs to a stream, that goes to Turtle Creek brook in Howell on Fort plains, eventually goes to Manasquan River- HOWELL Police are out there because lake overflowed and broke the road for the last 2 days of hurricane Irene, I contacted DEP they gave me case # 2 Yrs ago-nothing!! woods are dying, stream is dry, the stream and brook - Howell can put the lake on map name it and take me off wetlands! because I couldnt build an inground pool since I was to close to wetlands, I have none now, this has been going on for 4 years now!
LAKE OVERFLOWED WHEN HURRICANE IRENE CAME THROUGH! I TOLD POLICE TODAY TO CITE HIM, BUT?? I WANT WATER BACK IN MY STREAM BEFORE MY WHOLE WOODLANDS DIES! 26TH-30TH MANNED, 30TH AUG DUMMY K-9S, BUT ALL THIS BECAUSE A MANS ALLOWED TO HAVE THIS MAN-MADE LAKE AND UPSET THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT!! ( i didnt get shot of when the generator pumped the water back to the stream it belonged to, but I heard it running! and you can see it washed out from the over-flowing lake)

Buck enjoying His foor and keeping a good eye on Me - taken last year- sure do miss this guy.
they come around and eat the grass clippings I just have to get out there and throw them some food-
instead of being pre-occupied. I wouldnt make a great Mommy these days. :(
I do see them all the time- this year more Does than bucks but last was amazing with all the Bucks here.

These are my 3 boys that come to my backyard. The first one that showed up was this 6-point Buck and when he came from behind the Blue Spruce my Mouth just dropped! I had seen a Fawn in the yard and spent all day trying to get it but then it was and still is this guy who comes out before any Doe or Fawn here!! These are my first good shots of a Buck.

Rd Fox and Human: What can we as Photographers do to help them?

FEEDING the wild Red Foxes is leaving the vulnerable to being killed.
The Dilemma is at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware,
where there are no signs posted to give penalties by Wildlife Law

"Feeding an old coon in your yard, throwing your garbage out and a bear gets it in your yard, feeding your deer in the yard in the winter some corn, feeding your birds some bird seed in your yard, feeding a stray cat because it is hungry and crying in your yard, feeding a chipmunk some peanuts in your yard, even feeding your hawk raw meat in your yard.

I wonder if anyone has yet heard the key word?

it is " YOUR YARD"

THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE IN FEEDING THESE WILD ANIMALS IN YOUR YARD...
Is that it is YOUR YARD! you take on the responsibility and consequences for your actions...
(less importantly is that these animals are usually and hopefully adults that have grown and know how to hunt for what they eat and are not usually unless made to be an interactive type of species.)

If they are it is because you worked hard to make them that way... again your responsibility. your problem!

Here at the wildlife refuge, man gave this land to be dominated by the animals to be owned by them and to be a safe refuge for them to remain WILD. We are visitors, in our yard the land YOU own they are visitors you can either respect that or harm them whatever be your choice. (I have seen and heard both!)

But here in this wildlife refuge the land was given to the wild animal... If you make it a petting zoo instead of a refuge then it is no longer their property... we again own them and they have nothing."

I shot this Eagle with a 500mm lens and a 1.7 teleconverter from the moon roof of my friend Bill's SUV and with a full frame camera using Nikon Gear I am very happy with the result and the glow in his eye from the sun!

I never thought in all my dreams I would photograph and stand only 2 feet from a Red Fox. I certainly cannot tell you what you would feel for the first time you see the stunning beauty of one. I can say that as for my first experience I was so awe-stricken, the depth of excitement is just beyond compare.

I am so thankful to God for letting them be a part of my life as well as the Bald Eagle.

When I shoot a subject I love... such as the Eagle and the Red Fox and it appears before me, I know only God could have presented it to me.

I never thought in all my dreams I would be photographing The American Bald Eagle. It has been a most rewarding experience to watch them catch fish and steal each-others catch, to see them only 20 feet away or less is just an experience that finds you holding you're breath and speechless ... even if I call to them "Hey Little Buddy."

I am so glad I found moments like these to treasure in God's amazing world of wildlife. It is addicting photographing them in their sanctuary; Our Dam's and Wildlife Reserves!

I am thankful to God for allowing me the honor and the ability to photograph them.
